Are Deviled Eggs Evil? Discuss.

It’s often been said that you should never discuss politics or religion in polite society.

But we no longer live in a polite society, so I guess it’s okay.

That having been said, they’re still dangerous territory and call into question what, exactly, the desired end result should be. Is it a winner-take-all kind of thing? A how-can-you-be-so-stupid kind of a take? Or is it a noncommittal agree-to-disagree stance?

Whatever the case may be, I’m guessing that a lot of the awkward silences we’ll all be experiencing over the next four years won’t be due to disagreements about the weather. They’ll have more to do with genuine, profoundly simple disagreements on the interpretations of statements presented as facts...............looks like rain, don’t you think?

So, is “the law”, “the law”, or not?

Does “guilty” mean “guilty”, or not?

Is “Judge not, lest ye be judged” a teaching to live by or just a good copy-line?

Is “Love your neighbor as yourself” the simplest, most logical and easy-to-understand concept of goodness and inevitable success in all things that matter, or just a silly idea?

You decide. I have my own opinions...and might I add, these deviled eggs are heavenly.

We must adjust to changing times and still hold to unchanging principles.
